A holistic method of developing Vocal Flexibility, Ease, Power, and Spontaneity
Through a series of physical exercises known as “destructuring,” the body’s natural breath response is encouraged, habitual tension is released, and creative impulse is cultivated through activation of the autonomic nervous system. The process of “restructuring” gives technical focus to the act of communicating with full presence and power.
Fitzmaurice Voicework® is a blending of several influences, including traditional voice training, yoga, shiatsu, Reichian bodywork, and other body-based practices. It is taught at many prestigious drama schools, including Yale, Harvard, NYU, and the Moscow Art Theater School.
Jeremy is an Associate Teacher of the method and has taught with Catherine Fitzmaurice in New York and Los Angeles.
